Session 8

Hello ,

Okay , now I talk about my favorite subject in this career , to be honest in this year I didn’t have one in special , maybe  “Technology” because I like learn more about light design technology   … but I don’t  know , I think too, that the  theoretical subject are very good.

Ok , I choose “Drawing of human figure “ this subject corresponding to the four semester to the career. In class we draw an model , male or female in different positions , and we have to portraying them more exactly   like he or  she .

We draw whit carbon pencil in an sheet of paper , in an Flipchart. Then we can use watercolors.

Is a slow work to many concentration.

Generally we are around the model , in different angles.

Before to draw an human body , we should be draw objects in perspective , first  interior spaces , and  streets, etc. Then objects . And then sketches of body in movement, body of children , old people , and groups of people.

Well , that’s . 

One Day

Good morning!

Today I woke up late , I fell asleep more time that I expected… so I have never run so fast ..I took what I could find in my room as fast as I could and down the stairs ,I did not have time to eat breakfast and I did not have time to take a shower … well , “is only today , never more “ I thought.

Then I put one headphone in my ear, I put  the bicycle helmet in my head and ride my bike , way to University.

In the street. In the corner, the workers being to build the new building … I look at them and think “One more …”  ..But I’m latest! , so I  only ride and ride , the cars like wild animals go right next to me , expelling gas out side .

I can smell candies …“ah is the Dos en Uno’s factory”.( I love when i go near of  there , always is a new candy smel ).

I get in to the university class, and the teacher is there, but he arrived late too, “ uff , I’m safe “

Wena Compare!

Hello!

Now I would like to show  one of  my favorite photos , it’s  kinda  funny :) , I like, because it’s look as they say “Eyyy Bro!” or in spanish “ weena comparee!” , and I like the little dog jumping , he looks like smiling .( I shoud say too , that I love dogs , especially big dogs).

This picture was taked for Eliot Erwitt , he is a French photographer ,( but now live in Usa )  .  He work makes black and white photos, his works is very known and have famous photograps , I really like his work, because I think that he capturing the exact moment of the everyday moment , but just this moment not all can see . You may be surprised seeing his photos.

 This picture in special is for his collections calls "Dogs" for his book “Elliott Erwitt's Dogs” (2008). ( many photos of Dogs in different situations).  I think that this photo was taked in one city , maby near at one park ,for the floor and the back wall .

Healthy Living

Hello , now I want to talk about the  healthy living … well , or some like this , or his importance , well. But I talk specifically about the general, and all this is only my thinks about a good healthy living in the foods and this.

I think that is important ,for example  eat natural food , like vegetables  and fruits , this  help to  our body  to hydrate  and nourish. Drink many water and fruit juices, but isn’t  so much sugar .  And avoid the gashouses, especially “coca-cola”.

No consumed much meat. Its better eat legumes. Not consume much salt too, because have sodium and is no so necessary from our body, because some food have very much.

Eat nuts and seeds, like cashews, almonds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds. 

And of course make exercise for feel good, for example: swim , run , some martial art , ride a bike , play soccer , aerobics exercises , etc , and never forget stretching .

My favourite pice of tecnology

I don't know if say  that my mp3 or my  personal computer are more important , because i use very often bouth.
 My mp3 i use when I  go to somewhere , in the way ; in my bike, in the bus ,or   subway , I take it everywhere . And my  personal computer I use for all .. haha , yes because i use for study , for work , for listen music , for see movies , etc.  I use  generally in my house , in sprite of I have one more , but is fixed . I take it with my to university too , because is necessary for my in some matters. may be this is not so god ,because it's heavy for transport . I transport it in my bag , in an compartment to my bike , and sometimes his jump .. but i strap it securely..
well i will to say that my computer is more important , I use more time that my mp3 in  a day. 
My life isn't one of them should by very different , may be  less comfotable , sure , the computer make great part of work . And in relation with my mp3 , isn't it my life would be boring ... i'm exaggerating .
We have become  dependents of tecnology :s

The street musicians

The today topic will be the "street musicians" , and I think that the Santiago city street musicians specifically because is where I live and I know it .

Always when i walk  on the centre street's  and I listen a instrument I instinctively go my head to this for discover where it come .  And  when I find where it come I see a person that I don't know who is , but only can listen his interpretation and observe  how much know about his instrument . Sometimes is really surprising.

Some kind of people have this activity like his principally work , and I will say this is same of sacrificed that other works , in some aspects , because they can stand up for hours playing . Well ,  not always stand up because they can stop when they won’t , but it`s exhausting.

 The bad thing of all this, I think ,  is that not exist  some politic for this kind of work ... I referring for example , sometimes the police sentenced this actions ,and indeed this action is not bad , is good , is a work and in cases is the free expression .

I sometimes go to play violin at the subway  and is really funny see the people  and the reactions , sometimes they enjoy , sometimes they have an angry face , and sometimes the childs dance .  the elderly  give more money , and I happy to put an smile in his face.

This website is an space in the web for disseminate the culture , especially the visual arts pieces , but you can find diferent secctions like : digital art , science , design , erotic art , sculpture,photograph,ilustration ,art installations,music, paintings and street art .

Well ,I really like this website because here I can find new references for create my own works , and I enjoy see the works of diferent artist , but of course I prefer them more that others. I visit this site very often , because It has an space on facebook too , and there I like , so , I see them publications. I would say every other day.

Jack Johnson

Jack Johnson is a Hawaiian musician known for his work in the soft rock and acoustic genres.
He is surfer and filmmaker too. He makes his own movies/soundtracks. He is also known for organizing an annual event, the Kōkua Festival, at Honolulu , Hawaii, it is the major fundraiser for Kokua Hawai’i Foundation programs , this foundation to supports environmental education in Hawaii.
 Jack Johnson was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii at 1975, he has 37 years today.
 He began to learn how to surf at the age of 5. When he was 17 years old, he suffered a surfing accident, he got more than 150 stitches on his forehead and lost a few teeth lately, this episode would be come the inspiration for one of his songs , called: "Drink the Water".
 Jack Johnson graduated from Kahuku High School, at the North Shore of Oahu. He would later attend the University of California, Santa Barbara, and graduate with a degree in film and music production.
 Johnson learned how o play guitar at the age of 8 and started songwriting at the age of 12.

 Johnson credits his songwriting influences as Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Radiohead, Otis Redding, G. Love and Special Sauce, Ben Harper, Sublime, The Beatles, Bob Marley, Neil Young, and A Tribe Called Quest. He has five albums, the first one was released in 2001, with Ben Harper as producer. Then his four next albums were produced by himself, since he created his own record label.

Autobiography

Hello , my name is Gloria Allendes ,I'm from Santiago of Chile, I was born there , I’m twenty-three years old. Now I'm studying Theatre Design in Universidad of Chile , I'm in third year . My first school was “Colegio Manantial de Gracia”, I studied all the elementary studies there . I studied secondary school in three schools, my last school was “ISUCH” , I left school in 2007 , then I began to study dance for one year, but I left for a injury.
 I live with my parents in San Miguel (a commune south of the centre) . I have two older brothers, David, my oldest brother is thirty, he is living in Australia with his wife . And Pablo, my middle brother lives in La Serena , he is Gym teacher .So i'm the youngest I still I have my grandmother , she is ninety-three years old , and is a very wise person , she lives now with her sister in the ninth región “ La Araucania “ but she always travels.
 I like doing many things , I like playing music , I play the violin since long ago (since childhood) , I really like sports like riding my bike , swimming , playing football , and I would like to learn to surf , I hope I can do it someday soon. I like travelling and meeting new places . I like watching movies of drama , some comedy , historical , artfilms , animation movies , but I don't like violent movies or scary movies . I like listenning music , jazz , latin , relax music , classic , etc . I like many kinds of music. And I like dance and know new styles .
